Corfu Island is on the northwest coast of Greece. I hadn’t originally planned on visiting here, but after hearing raving reviews about the fun to be had at the Pink Palace hostel I decided that a few more days of relaxing would be ideal.
Pink Palace has a reputation as a “party hostel” one it rightly deserves, but my stay would not be during the high season. When a hostel can hold over 500 people and it only has 30-40 visitors, it doesn’t have quite the same “spring break” feel. The hostel has a host of activities to partake of, however during my stay the cruise and kayaks were not open as the water was a bit too choppy. I did get out on the quads for a guided tour on one day and a trip into the main town on the next.
Nice place though. Almost like a resort as breakfast and dinner was included and there isn't much reason to leave the premises alone.
Other than that.. I worked really hard on my tan, had a few drinks, and.. oh yeah.. went to a toga party.
Next stop.. Venice.
