The seriousness of school got started this week. We had a reasonably difficult A&P test on Wednesday. Though it did seem to be easier than what people were expecting. The other test on EMS Systems was easy, mostly a review from EMT class.
In addition to the 20 Home Medications we have to memorize each week, we have been given our first bit of Paramedic pharmacology. With home meds we simply need to know their classification. Eventually, with our 24 EMT-P drugs we'll have to know almost everything about them. Lots more A&P stuff this week as well. All of which has to be in my head for the two tests next Wednesday.
Needless to say I'll have to start exercising better study habits.
Paul and I have been talking almost daily about our two programs. He's busy rubbing in the fact that he'll be out sooner, but we both concede that we'll probably get to an internship at the same time. =)
