Unscathed,,,

Well After 6 weeks of Paramedic school I have finally emerged from arguably one of the hardest parts: A&P (anatomy & physiology). We lost one student during that time, but apparently that's unusual.. they normally lose 2 or 3. You have to make a given percentage on every quiz and test. If you miss one.. on big deal. If you miss two, you're on academic probation. If you miss three, "there's the door." We have one other student who is on the border, but so far he's been able to hang in there. I've been able to stay in the green zone on every test, so I'm feeling pretty good. Take into consideration that I'm one of the people in class who work full-time in addition to school. A vast majority of the others still live at home! Their age and immaturity is started to become tiresome though and becuase I'm one of the few that think that way it's getting to be a problem.

Other than that.. I'm just trying to keep my head above water.
We started EKG interpretation this week.
Guy is getting along quite well with his flying lessons, and his new relationship seems to be going well. Good for him.. he derserves it.

Pass me the scuba gear.. I'm going back in.

p.s. The cadaver lab last Friday was pretty educational. I won't gross you out by giving any details.

Their immaturity? You're not fooling anyone.

Hey, buddy. It's good to hear what you're doing.
