Stage one: Complete

So much has happened.. I'm breaking into three posts..

First: Didactic phase of school.. COMPLETE. (mostly)

On July 19th we had our finals. I did well on most of the sections really only getting caught up on the home medications. So I have been spending time trying to really absorb those. After all, the things we learn in class are directly applicable to our job. So even though I'm not being tested on it, it's still very valuable information.

Having passed my finals I was allowed to take the exit oral board interview a week later. This is pretty much like finals all over again, but with more stress. I was getting a little nervous but it wasn't until I spoke with a few of the other students and picked up on there fear that I became more concerned. As it turns out, I had no reason to be. I did very well in the interview.

There was such a feeling of release afterward. I still have to write a research paper, but that's should be relatively easy and has a reasonable due date.

Now it's on to Highland hospital for my clinical internship.

NEXT!
